workshop and field trip report
A REPORT ON WORKSHOP
With the permission of the Principal and Head of the Department of
Commerce A one day workshop on “Business and Soft Skills”, conducted on 27th
February 2016 under the chairmanship of Dr. V. Rajendra Prasad. Prof. M.A.
Azeem, Dean Faculty of commerce and management, MANUU, Hyd, Mr. Sadath
Shareef, Asst. Professor Department of commerce MANUU, Hyd, and Syed
Hassanuddin Anas, Corporate Trainer were the resource Persons attended the
workshop. They enlightened the students about the changes in the corporate
sector and elaborated the requirements necessary for appointment in the various
sections of the corporate sector. They said that one should be through in business
skills so that he may be appointed in the corporate sector. Mr. Sadath shareef
reiterated that student should equip themselves with the requirements of the
corporate sector. Mr. Syed Hassanuddin Anas said English is the corporate
language so every student must have flair in English because mother tongue has
become a social language. In social dealings we can use mother tongue but
English is the basic requirement for the corporate sector without this one cannot
dream for the job in the corporate sector. In the beginning of the Program Dr. M.
Thukaram, HOD, Dr. V. Rajendra Prasad, Mr. Mohd Abid Ali, Also Spoke. Mr. Syed
Haseeb Ur Rahman Conveyed the vote of thanks. A large number of Students and
Staff attended the Program.
FIELD TRIP REPORT
With the permission of the principal and head of the department of
commerce a field trip was arranged on 24-03-2016 to the M/s Sukhjeet Starch
Mill Ltd., Mubaraknagar, Nizamabad for Students of B.Com Urdu medium on 8.00
O’clock started the journey to the spot from G. G. College and reached at 8.30 am
Mr. Radha Krishna, Personnel Manager greeted the students and staff and divided
the students into three groups and accompanied one responsible employee with
the students to visit the firm. It was observed that the manufacturing process
consists of three stages crushing refining and finishing. Students observed all
these processes in their note books for preparing a article on “Sukhjeet Starch
Mill”. Mr. Mohd Abid Ali, Syed Haseeb Ur Rahman and Mrs. Nazima Jabeen
Lecturers in Commerce accompanied throughout the visit. At the end of the visit
refreshment is served to the students. And come back to the college at 4.00pm
after a fruitful visit.
